Battlefield ist, auch wenn CoD-Fans oder andere Gamer etwas anderes behaupten, ein sehr beliebter Shooter. Battlefield 1 ist gerade in den Startlöchern und man sieht bereits einiges von der Alpha Version auf YouTube von den unterschiedlichsten Let’s Playern. Nun geht es aber einen Schritt weiter, denn Paramount Televisions und Anonymous Content haben sich die Filmrechte an der Spielereihe gesichert. Geplant ist eine eigene Fernsehserie rund um den Shooter mit Michael Sugar und Ashley Zalta als Produzenten.
Informationen zum genauen Starttermin, Episoden und Staffeln, Schauspielern, Story und co gibt es noch nicht. Vielleicht wird es etwas wie Band of Brothers oder The Pacific. Es muss auch nicht heißen, dass die Serie im ersten oder zweiten Weltkrieg stattfinden wird. Immerhin war man mit Battlefield schon in den unterschiedlichsten Zeiten und Regionen.

Da ich Fan der Band of Brothers und The Pacific Serie bin, bin ich gespannt auf eine Serie im Battlefield Umfeld. Man kann gespannt sein, welche Schauspieler mit dabei sein werden aber auch in welchem Zeitrahmen die Serie zu Hause sein wird.
